Concord Campus Chapter of theCal State East Bay Alumni Association
Joining the Concord Chapter of the CSUEB Alumni Association
A Message from the Chapter Officers: The Concord Campus Chapter welcomes you to “keep the link” with Cal State East Bay and your fellow alumni! Making the decision to pursue a higher level of education by earning a college degree is only one of the many ways you can increase your potential for success as you pursue a career in a chosen field. Joining an alumni association of the college you attend is another decision you can make to further increase your potential for success as you pursue that career after graduation. Joining a specific chapter of that alumni association that reflects your goals, aspirations, and area of focus is yet another decision you can make to further increase your potential for success as you pursue that career. The Concord Campus Chapter of the Cal State East Bay Alumni Association is here for you. If you live or work in Contra Costa County you may find that this chapter fits your needs very well. The Concord Campus Chapter will keep you connected to the University, connected to the Concord Campus, provide important networking opportunities within the local community, and offer social events for your enjoyment while you utilize the benefits and discounts provided by the Cal State East Bay Alumni Association membership. In the past year, our chapter membership has significantly grown in size. Some of you may wish to become more active as members. The ways you can become more active include join our leadership team to help staff committees plan social events, coordinate fundraising events, and plan membership drives. If you have an hour per month available, we can use your support. So, don’t be afraid to get involved because you think it will take too much time; your involvement is based upon the time you’re able to spare, whether it is an hour, a day, or more. If you have any questions, ideas, or suggestions in regards to the chapter, its activities, and/or development, please feel free to send them at any time. As our membership continues to grow, we will all reap the benefits of having an active chapter in Contra Costa County. So, welcome to the Concord Campus Chapter! I look forward to meeting each of you in the near future! Thank you and have a lovely day! Krista Kohlberg
