9 AM Ceremony begins; Students assemble at 8:00 am

Place:

Boatwright Sports Complex, Concord Campus

Who can attend:

Graduate and credential students who have taken coursework at Concord are automatically eligible.

Undergraduate students who have completed 8 units of coursework at the Concord campus are eligible to attend the Concord ceremony.

Students eligible to attend the Concord campus ceremony will receive an invitation. To accommodate our guests, an RSVP is required using http://www.my.csueastbay.edu/

Credential Students must RSVP by sending an email to ccinfo@csueastbay.edu

Tickets are limited to 12 guests per student.

Students may attend commencement ceremonies on both the Hayward and Concord campuses. No RSVP is required for the Hayward commencement ceremony.

Attire:

Caps and gowns are required for all students participating in the ceremony.

Parking:

Parking will be available in the Staff/Faculty and Student parking lots on the Concord campus (limit 3 parking permits per student). Disabled parking will be available at the entrance to the Boatwright Fields. Use the Ygnacio Valley Road entrance to access these parking lots. Shuttles from the parking lots to the field will be provided. Pine Hollow Road entrance will be closed on the morning of the ceremony.

Gradfest 2008:

April 17 from 2:30 – 6:30 pm in the Concord Campus Bookstore. Cap and gown rentals, diploma information, announcements, class rings, photographer, etc. Detailed information about this event will be forthcoming.

Honors convocation:

Saturday, May 17, 2008 on the Hayward campus. There will be no Honors Convocation at the Concord Campus.
